    I highly doubt war between Israel and Iran would happen but if it did it would be very unlikely the other countries would want to get pulled into it. Despite some countries helping Israel, it’s still a massively unpopular alliance in their own country. I think it was over 90% of Saudi’s believe they should break ties with Israel and this was back in 2023, I can’t imagine the numbers getting any better. They would only join in if they were forced to, such as Jordan being turned into a battlefield given it’s location. Admittedly some of these countries are monarchies so popular opinion isn’t as important as democracies but there is a limit to that rule.

    I mean, Arabs aren’t a hive-mind, and Arab-majority countries aren’t a single political unit.

    It’s like asking what Europeans will do on any given international matter, which tends to be “a variety of things”.

    The article itself is more nuanced, but…
