Eh, I think this is overblown. If you buy one that’s sized correctly and fits well, it doesn’t really affect your breathing. Some brands suck and aren’t made out of flexible enough material around the chest (any where you can tell where the binding panel is on it by the texture) but not all binders are that bad.

I should be the target audience to get this joke and I don’t get it either. Am I supposed to fear stairs?
As a weeb, I have in fact done that.

werewolfborg@ttrpg.networkto News@lemmy.world•Walmart says it will raise prices due to tariff costs after posting solid first quarter sales9·2 months agoFor the economic safety of the US’ citizens, we really need to figure out how to get rid of a president’s ability to put tariffs on anything. We’ve found out what happens when there’s nothing stopping a president from just pushing them out frivolously. They just should not be able to do this. If we need to put tariffs on anything, it needs to be something passed in the House and Senate. Slowing it down so people actually think things through like real professionals is the key. It should not be done by the president ever again. No exceptions. No saying “Maybe the next president can be trusted to not do this.” They can’t be.

I mean, it worked because I clicked on it to see what people said, but man, that title is super corporate.

That should be over $1,000 just because of the sheer amount of books.

Otherwise, they’d realize what they’re actually advocating for by not opposing authoritarianism.

That means we don’t have to investigate if a game involves gambling or if fights are truly fights rather than attacks. Everyone is punished equally. It’s very fair.”
I don’t use it, but I’ve seen the video that a woman posted on LinkedIn of her sig heiling to prove that Elon didn’t make the “same gesture.” I’m convinced some people are just using it like regular social media, even if it makes them unemployable.
I feel the same but with soda in general unless it’s one of the real sugar sodas. I do actually like sodas a lot, but only for special occasions. I used to live within walking distance of a Rocket Fizz and would get a couple bottles once or twice a month. They had a punch card, but I wouldn’t get punches very fast even though I was really close.
My roommate is always complaining about his contacts drying or running out of new ones, and every time I cringe a little bit because I hate things touching my eyes. Even eye exams freak me out, but I only have to deal with weird things happening to my eyes when I get them. I’ve been trying to convert him back to glasses, but he won’t listen.

I don’t believe VR should be something only adults can use, but there needs to be some really good moderation. Otherwise it would just be overrun by sexual predators and edgelords.

They just have to force people to undergo experimental autism cures, which have historically killed patients. An example of this would be chelation therapy, aka using the medication used to remove heavy metals from the body under the (unconfirmed) assumption that autism is caused by heavy metals.
If a database is good enough to connect pharmacy records, medical records, and even health info from smart watches (which a doctor or insurance company would not have access to) then it would need to link patient info together in a way that’s not as anonymous as they claim it to be. Theoretically, this could be enough information to force someone into doing these experimental treatments in order to keep their driver’s license (even if they’re otherwise high functioning enough to not be hospitalized) or force someone to be hospitalized with promises of being taught to be more independent later down the line.

This is why I don’t like AI. It’s not always inherently bad but people use it and pass it off as their own work or cheat on tests. People who do this are lucky I’m not their boss. Using AI to do your training just means you’re easily replaceable.
