Adobe still has lifetime purchases?
she probably just wants you to stop racking up the electric bill
But you’re asleep and next thing you know someone is punching your face and now you can’t see because you have fists in your eyes plus you probably have a seat belt on and you can’t get it off because your hands are probably trying to shield you
But then people would be able to vote and not be homeless which goes against their goals
Was it working fine before? I’ve been using Bluetooth headphones and wireless mouse on popos for a few months now and only had an issue on a machine yesterday. I think it was because I was swapping the drive with the os on the several different motherboards to test different cpus
I think that’s what popos comes with, never looked into what the differences are between them or why one would want to switch
For email and calendar I’D probably look into proton. For other software tools i would start with services people like that you don’t have to manage other than be like the admin and as you go try and find alternatives and self host your own and teat it out. Maybe even something like digital ocean where you can just spin up a droplet that’s presetup for you and learn more and more until you’re comfortable to transition other people to it
I was just thinking about my free oracle server if it would be good for my own lemmy instance?
Have you checked out grav https://learn.getgrav.org/17/basics/what-is-grav
https://github.com/getgrav/grav
I use it just to make simple markdown sites for info like my gaming servers or if I feel like making a random blog post
I usually print these out and put them in a safe deposit box at a bank so I never lose them
I setup nextcloud and just use that to backup my Obsidian notes. But I also use next cloud deck depending on the type of notes or list I’m making
I’ve been using it for almost a year now and it works great. I used to just use a spread sheet to track my bills paychecks and due dates but this made it much nicer
I think a lot of people have switched to Linux and realized it was just a lot better, myself included. It took me a bit to let the differences soak in, just like when I got my first smart phone but after a bit of using it and trying things out you realize you should have done it a long time ago
Well with email if you want emails to come to you you also have to search for it and sign up your email to a list to receive them or give your email to people for them to send you stuff.
In lemmy you need to go to a community finder and find communities you want then you copy their link and paste it in your home instance search bar and hit follow. With email you need to search the web for a sites email list then paste your email in their and say you want to receive their email
Ok yeah after running more tests from the site I did see mine show up on some of them but I’ve only been able to compare to other recent results. I haven’t seen anyway to filter the results by cpu or gpu without it sending me to Google search which doesn’t help.
Haha I assumed we had like a corporate IT that was just always there approving and denying requests. Until one time I had requested a photo editing app and weeks later I got an email from my local IT guy saying it wasn’t going to be approved. I was shocked he responded and shocked that he was the dude that was getting all my angry requests all along lol. I couldn’t even install our own companies software to test our products it’s insane
Lidarr might help, like other said you need to start by organizing your library first then look at hosting.
Just do half hour first day, then full hour next day
