Why would the “original” be able to perceive itself in two places? Are you able to perceive yourself in the past? That was literally you, yet you only perceive the present. There is no reason why you should be able to perceive a brain identical to yours but separated in space either.

Also the point is the “original” doesn’t make sense in the first place, both the copy and you would perceive the same thing in your hypothetical case, because you are the same.

What is your “original mind” though? Is there such a thing? Are you the same you you were last night? You only “Inhabit yourself” in the present, so the continuity of your mind is just an illusion. For the clone, they would be as “you” as you are, and in fact it would be impossible to tell the difference between you and your clone for anyone, including yourself. Maybe you’re the clone?

I don’t know where you went, but since 2011 it’s been illegal to smoke indoors in Spain. It’s still legal to smoke on outdoor seating in bars/restaurants, but fortunately that’s going to be made illegal as well.

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem possible, afaik. Although you could always create a zip file with a password, and share it with an open link (anyone with the link can download it, no need for account).

Maybe something like xbackbone? I’ve used it to share small-ish files and it works fine; I don’t know how much of a pain it would be to use for a group of people, but as long as everyone has an account they should be able to access files with a link.

I guess the advantage would be to have a more updated copy, because the ones on kiwix are one year old.

btop is nice and I use it sometimes; but htop, my beloved, doesn’t complain about the screen size being too small. And it’s more visual for me anyways.
