I have a tuxedo cat, but his diet seems to be mainly based on my ankles.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock.
Guys, I’m a Linux user, too, but can we stop having these fake arguments, please?
Many such cases
I never met anyone in real life who said the stuff shown in this meme. The handful of comments here are few and far between.
Spent two weeks debloating
The folks who care enough to debloat are either already on Linux or would spend maybe 1-2h to make a few fixes, before they get something they are okay with.
Just install Linux
For those who stick with Windows, it’s often more than “just switching”. They may need certain software, they may not be tech-savvy, they may be insecure about whether they could handle the occasional hiccup on a system that is completely new to them. All valid reasons for hesitation, and “just switch” is about as helpful as “just cheer up”.
Because learning Linux would take time.
I’ve used Linux for 15 years now, and I’m still constantly learning new things. Linux is so much more usable now than it ever was, and I also think more people should switch. But suggesting that you “learn Linux” in two weeks’ time is just silly and dishonest IMO.
I wish we as a community could stop with this sense of superiority and actually acknowledge people’s humane struggles to help them make the move.

I mean define “song”. My girlfriend and I are no composers, but we got a lil jingle for our cat that features the word “potato” a lot.
When my cat tries to ambush us, he likes to hide in his cat tunnel with his butt sticking out. You can tell an attack is imminent by his signature wiggle.
The facial expression is truly ahead of its time.
Snails are used in some cuisines (France). I’ve had them. They’re not bad.

What do you mean? The typst compiler is open source. The proprietary stuff is just the web app, and it’s the equivalent to what Overleaf is to LaTeX (with essentially the same business model).
That hbox is much more than 9.895pt too wide.
Science is more like having a laser pointer. Through careful application and repetition, you could technically infer something about the location of the cat. But the cat moves around constantly and doesn’t like you being there, and you only have limited time to do it, because the funding for your cat-finding project is about to run out.

This is Amazon, too. This is basically any online shop that is active worldwide and organized around individual sellers, and it’s one of the reasons I prefer to shop elsewhere nowadays. Hundreds of almost identical products, all with 4-5 star ratings of questionable veracity, photoshopped or downright fake images of the products. I simply can’t judge what the products are like anymore.
For some reason, I’m reading this in John Oliver’s voice.
