I don’t agree. Neither the IDF nor Hamas fall under Geneva Convention (GC) protections because both have brazenly and repeatedly contravened it, thus excluding themselves under the GC’s own stipulations. They are both doing sick shit and are both lending more fuel to each other’s propaganda fires.

You’ll soon see that nuance is dead on Lemmy. Hamas indubitably commits war crimes en masse, as does the IDF, but morons will only ever excuse those of Hamas, rather than condemning both sets of actions.

I feel your last line. I’m a competent user (read: great at following tutorials) and couldn’t get HA/mosquitto/z2m all working together. I wish I could, but I wouldn’t dream of passing it to even my brother, it’s so far from plug and play. Huge shame, because it’s so attractive.

Uf, this is not a great response. That citizen should stay and add their valuable voice to calls and demands for improvement.

This is going poorly for Israel. They don’t seem to detect a tide of opinion rising against them, slowly but surely. Maybe they plan to smash-and-grab, get as much done as they can before they are truly forced to ease up.

I called my brother and sister in law out over exactly this, because we heard the beeps and honks in the distance in our town. Self reflection lasted all of 5 seconds, and then it was back to regularly scheduled programming.
