So this is the rich and vain giving themselves a pat on the back, and taking a hundred grand in speaker fees while the planet is still dying and not enough is being done?
How are all these people getting to New York? Or are they gonna do the environmentally friendly thing and dial in via Zoom like everyone else 🤔
I love Remedy, I literally made a comment yesterday about how they’re the only game series that I’m really invested in story wise.
That being said, I don’t know if I want a TV show or movie…
I love the games and the way the story is told and interacted with, a show/movie feels like it would be a step back.
I’m playing Quantum Break at the moment and the whole “TV show” side of it doesn’t really add anything for me.

LLMs have already reached the end of the line 🤔
I don’t believe that. At least from an implementation perspective we’re extremely early on, and I don’t see why the tech itself can’t be improved either.
Maybe it’s current iteration has hit a wall, but I don’t think anyone can really say what the future holds for it.
Now that GPU companies and developers seem to be giving some focus to Linux, I don’t know what Microsoft can do.
Windows is bloated to shit and that’s how Microsoft seemingly wants it. Unless they start to offer a stripped down release then I don’t see how it could compete with a Linux based OS going forward. (For handheld consoles).
Ironically, I think AI may prove to be most useful in video games.
Not to outright replace writers, but so they instead focus on feeding backstory to AI so it essentially becomes the characters they’ve created.
I just think it’s going to be inevitable and the only possible option for a game where the player truly chooses the story.
I just can’t be interested in multiple choice games where you know that your choice doesn’t matter. If a character dies from option a, then option b, c, and d kill them as well.
Realising that as a kid instantly ruined telltale games for me, but I think AI used in the right way could solve that problem, to at least some degree.
lol, I like how they doubled down and blamed VPNs to try and get people to stop using them 😂
She desperately wants to stay relevant, but doesn’t seem to realise her political career is basically dead.
She literally had her shot at the top job and absolutely, monumentally, historically fucked it.
lol, forgot I was even on my feddit.uk account.
I’d already gone through blocking all of that stuff via my app before the defederation stuff happened, but if I were signing up to a new instance I’d appreciate it being blocked by default.
I would much rather signup to an instance that handles that for me.
As long as the instance is clear about what they defederate from and their reasons, then I’m happy with that. And if I wasn’t, I could choose a different instance.
Hopefully it tries to be as neutral as possible, and just gives kids the general tools to spot when something’s fake/exaggerated.
Introducing this sort of thing without trying to be strictly impartial sounds like a slippery slope.
I kinda get why they (and other companies) have to try AI at the moment though.
It’s not what people claim it is, but it could end up being an essential tool for the modern world, and if they don’t invest in it early their business might end up getting left behind.
We’ve certainly seen companies fall because they’ve not tried to stay on the cutting edge before.
What’s the problem with boxing?
Are you talking about the sport itself, or all the BS that goes on around it?
Yeah, meme really would’ve landed if it was “N”
It’s awful. Politics is unavoidable at this point, and the amount of general anger on the platform is crazy.
People love watching their videos of people getting TBIs… Or getting too excited about a “justice served” post where a woman gets hit.
It’s kinda nice to see someone get their comeuppance, but then you look in the comments and there are just weirdos saying stuff like “glad that bitch got hit”, like… wtf?
20 minute shit every *hour
