From reading about PieFed’s moderation tools linked elsewhere in this thread, seems like the solution to that is already built in more explicitly for them.

What a joke lol
To my knowledge, most of the big names in traditional PV “string” inverters have a hybrid/battery option configurable for backup power or self-usage with varying degrees of control. Lots are even configurable for efficiency with time based electricity cost fluctuations.
They both got silver if I’m not mistaken
I’m planning on getting some recertified Seagate Ironwolfs from SeverPartDeals very soon
GPLs “restrictions” are freedom preserving though. It only restricts developers from keeping dirivitive code proprietary. In order to violate the GPL you’d have to choose to use GPL code and then choose not to release your modified versions of it under a similar copyleft license. It may seem counterintuitive, but having those restrictions results in more software freedom overall - similar to the paradox of intolerance.
I’m not saying MIT or so called permissive licenses are bad, but the permissive/restrictive language is just as loaded as the OPs suggestions. Both styles are needed, but copyleft licenses are better at promoting software freedom.
Edit: I do agree with you that LGPL serves an important role in promoting free/libre software where it would otherwise would never be used.
It’s also supposed to make up for lost tax revenue on fuel, which would (theoretically) go to road maintenance.
How would you get through the install though? Are there any simple solutions without any graphics output?
What if I’ve never built a headless system and am afraid of not having easy access to a GUI?
Mastodon is easily the largest decentralized social network. Idk what you’re on about.
I didn’t even notice that was a mod. Disgraceful honestly. I was surprised to see that post still up after the poster continuously and deliberately misunderstood what FOSS means. Like its fine if you want to make open source software without a free license, but at least recognize the difference when people spell it out for you, or at the very least don’t be rude about it.
From what I’ve read both arch and debian stable aren’t vulnerable to this. It targeted mostly debian-testing.
Suprisingly common though. I guess telegram is somewhat better than discord.
Love Cool People who did Cool Stuff!
Doesn’t Trash Guides prefer larger files though? Iirc if you just do everything as they recommend you’ll always be grabbing the highest quality stuff available, which is the opposite of what this person wants.
It doesn’t seem to be what’s happening here, but I’ve seen wooded areas clear cut for large scale solar farms before. That’s completely missing the point of green energy IMO and I can see why some would oppose it.
