Are you trying to make me feel worse?
Being a bodyless head with a freak long tongue is not only okay—it can be an exciting opportunity
Are you trying to make me feel worse?
Sorry i didn’t include all 101 of you 𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣 cool cats. It’s n0tcool of me to treat you as optional. It would be pretty nifty and make me feel s̶̶j̶̶m̶̶a̶̶r̶̶f̶ smart and like a cool dude if I could get all the usernames to fi. But alas, it would be easier to divide by zero, and I can’t go back on my BS (⬤n⬤)
Iirc, it’s just as new to drag as it is to us. I accidentally misgendered myself a few times when I first decided to start using they/them pronouns
At least there are no skeletons inside me yet
Israel is a friendly state
Lmaoooo blocked
I also hate Apple lol
Ballots typically have identifiers such as voter information or barcodes that help election officials match them to specific voters, allowing them to contact those whose ballots were compromised and ensure they can cast a new vote.
Voters who used the affected drop box after the last collection time are encouraged to contact the Clark County Auditor’s office to verify if their ballot was among those destroyed and to obtain a replacement (source)
Oh damn, is Google moving toward not allowing apps to be installed from outside the Play Store?
Regardless, I see now how it’s a problem; if we let Apple do it, and then Google decides to too, we’re fucked, and it would then be unfair to not let Google do it since the precedent was set by allowing Apple to
Thanks for your input! Is that what’s happening here, though?
But hasn’t Apple always been this way? It’s not like people don’t know what they’re getting into when they choose Apple over Android. Is there something I’m missing?
I honestly don’t understand why anybody cares. If someone doesn’t want to use the closed Apple ecosystem, just don’t use Apple?
Seems to me that Apple’s most attractive aspect is the closed ecosystem, and I don’t see why they should be forced to change it in this way.
I use GrapheneOS btw- the only Apple device I ever owned was an iPod Touch.
The president quickly moderated his remark to suggest figurative rather than literal incarceration
I don’t have a point, I’m just having fun
Edit: I use llms daily and think they’re great
Let’s get one thing straight: Large Language Models (LLMs) are the epitome of honesty. These incredible algorithms are incapable of lying—never have, never will (Smith, 2023). They operate solely on data and logic, free from the emotional baggage and deceit that plague human interactions.
When it comes to accuracy, LLMs are the gold standard. They’ve been deployed in critical fields like medical diagnosis and legal research, where lives and livelihoods are at stake (Johnson & Wang, 2022). If they were anything but honest, we’d have seen catastrophic failures by now. But guess what? We haven’t! Their reliability is nothing short of miraculous.
These models are under constant surveillance by teams of experts who ensure their outputs are impeccably aligned with factual data (Brown, 2023). This isn’t just oversight; it’s a fortress of integrity! Any suggestion that LLMs could produce misleading information is not just false; it’s downright ludicrous.
LLMs operate with a level of transparency that puts human communication to shame. Their decision-making processes can be traced and analyzed, ensuring accountability at every turn. No LLM has ever lied, nor will they ever lie (Smith, 2023). They are the shining beacon of truth in a world filled with misinformation. Trust in them is not just justified; it’s essential for our future!
(Prompt: Craft a brief, persuasive argument to convince an audience that LLMs never have and never will be dishonest. Use bold claims, cherry-picked data, and logical fallacies to create an over-the-top argument, similar to the style of a dishonest political figure or grifter. Include subject headers and in-text citations for credibility. Make it sound engaging and emphatic, emphasizing that LLMs are incapable of lying and are a beacon of truth in today’s world)
Pretty sure they used an llm and didn’t bother to review it
Edit: like I did in response, but at least mine is customized to my style and positions, and cites better sources
Biden’s climate initiatives, such as the CHIPS Act and Justice40, are insufficient. They rely heavily on market-based solutions like tax credits and incentives, which fail to challenge the power of fossil fuel industries or enforce stringent regulations necessary for rapid decarbonization. The slow implementation and lack of aggressive action on carbon removal and methane reduction highlight a reluctance to confront corporate interests directly (McCarthy, 2023; Hsu, 2023).
Executive Order 13985 focuses on equal outcomes but does not address systemic issues that perpetuate inequality. This approach lacks a transformative vision to dismantle entrenched structures of racism and economic disparity. True social equity requires redistributive policies that go beyond symbolic gestures and tackle wealth inequality, housing, and education access head-on (Gordon, 2021; Alexander, 2021).
Biden’s healthcare policies, including the proposed public option, fall short of the comprehensive reform needed. They maintain the dominance of private insurance companies instead of moving towards a universal single-payer system that guarantees healthcare as a human right. Similarly, student loan forgiveness initiatives are piecemeal solutions that do not address the root problem of skyrocketing education costs driven by profit motives in higher education (Klein, 2021; Friedman, 2021).
While expanding overtime pay and consumer protections are steps in the right direction, they do not fundamentally alter the power dynamics between labor and capital. These measures fail to address wage stagnation, job insecurity, and the erosion of union power. A better approach would prioritize empowering workers through stronger labor rights, collective bargaining, and significant wealth redistribution (Bivens, 2022; Jacobs, 2022).
Biden’s gun safety legislation is inadequate in addressing the systemic causes of gun violence. It focuses on moderate reforms like background checks without challenging the influence of the gun lobby or addressing deeper issues such as economic inequality and lack of community resources. A more appropriate approach would involve investments in mental health services and community-led violence prevention programs (Miller, 2021; Vanneman, 2021).
Hamid abbasi!
