For the most part everything works together, buying non Deere implements and using them with Deere tractors is common. John Deere is a status symbol. Deere also does technology better IMO, that being said I really have no idea what auto-steer tech Case utilizes, they have to have something because no modern farmer is paying attention to their rows that much.

Old sysadmin trick I was taught was to freeze the drives overnight, have used this trick on multiple occasions, but once the drive heats back up it’s really dead. But you’ve generally got ample time to backup the drive before it dies.

Someone mentioned Zen on the endeavor forums the other day. I’ve switched to Zen Optimized as my daily driver and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. I’m not a keyboard shortcuts kinda guy but you do need to learn the tab manipulation shortcuts or it’ll drain your sanity right clicking on the icons to close tabs.

After a couple years of solid pixel use I just ordered an S24 Ultra. I don’t care about alot of things but I’ve had enough terrible signal, WiFi, Bluetooth and battery life.
My wife bought an S23 Ultra and I had my Pixel 7 pro, we’re both out and about, she’s got full bars 5G, and I’ve barely got any signal. She can leave her phone anywhere in the house and her bluetooth works up to like 60’ away in the right conditions, meanwhile I’m getting half that at most, and there’s a 3 second delay over Bluetooth so watching video is fun. She gets like 2 days of charge out of her phone normally, and with minor use I’m below 40% at the end of the day.

I work with middle eastern guys who are like this, they hide this side of themselves when I’m around (white guy) but it comes out when my female coworkers are alone. I have a genetic condition that severely limits testosterone production. Didn’t find out until I was almost 40, my health hasn’t been terrible. Mental health is a different story.
I’ve spent the majority of my life “castrated” and it hasn’t been all that bad, that being said I still had urges even with pretty much zero testosterone so I question whether it will do anything to prevent abuse.
Nothing, there is nothing wrong with nano. There are what I will call vim purists who think using anything but vim is sacrilege. I’ve been using nano, and it’s predecessor Pico forever and while I can use vim if I need to, I don’t hate myself enough to do so.

Dunno, I used to run 3 monitors until I got an ultra wide, now I’m down to 2. Never had any issues getting the displays to work in either. It was mostly graphical glitches and screen tearing that drove me back to X11.
I have been a Liberal since I was 12 years old. I have never voted conservative in 30 years of federal elections. But with Trudeau refusing to step down I have no choice but to vote conservative. The backbenchers know they’re not going to get re-elected with him in charge and that’s why most of them have been relegated to the back benches. He’s surrounded himself with sycophant MPs, and is delusional enough to think the majority of the country is happy with him.
I’m willing to let Skippy axe the carbon tax and hopefully make living in this country affordable again. Ontario generally elects a provincial party that is in opposition, provincial liberals will get in and reintroduce cap & trade which will save us when the next liberal government is elected and tries to save the world again.
