Experienced in what? Reading comprehension? The place is called DEATH valley. Pair of flip flops will do?
What’s meant by “not much is done by the city for this corner”? It’s not a “corner”. It’s a big junction in a very large and populated neighborhood. I don’t consider it a ghetto around there, actually it’s expensive to live near there. The junction itself has been recently upgraded making it safer for pedestrians and cyclists. Further, most of the Turkish are German citizens. How are the German government forcing people into these neighborhoods?
Mr racist goes to Washington!
Oh don’t get me wrong I know it’s more complicated, it’s what they use as a whistle for their “culture wars”
Funnily enough Germany was the richest nation in the years running up to WW1. And then after at least Berlin was one of the most tolerant places in the world before the Nazis came to power. Would still be considered extremely progressive. I do wonder sometimes if the extreme wealth led to progressiveness, WW1 never got to Berlin after all. The Nazis used the decent of the populace into poverty because of the sanctions of Versailles as fire for their cause. Boogymen were provided by the Nazis in the form of minorities such as the Jews to justify abhorrent behaviors.
I see many many similarities in the US today. From wealth disparity to the boogyman of the “immigrants” and so on. Instead of Versailles it’s the sanctions of the environment etc etc.
Yeah but you don’t need to melt down glass at all, you can just autoclave it and reuse it.
Max Planck’s son Erwin was also involved in a plot. He was executed for his part despite pleas from his father.
Well people tried to kill Hitler loads of times. 42 times according to Wikipedia. First was in 1932, before he became dictator.

Stranger things have happened. Reminds me of the Bavarian beer riots of 1844.
I’ve never seen cishet written before and I’m here trying to pronounce it… Maybe it’s pronounced “cishay” like French? I figured it out in the end.
I think there was solar panel subsidies but they got rid of them because it got cheap. Essentially those that didn’t get subsidies would just not enter the market because they would be competing in a market where others had a big advantage. They are hoping other companies now see it as viable. I have no opinions on this, I’m no economics major or anything.
To the GOP it is because those 24 cases give them a chance to block many more votes. Just get the vote out strong enough and this wont matter.
It’s normalized already. It’s fucked up.
He was all into the conspiracy theories though, even in news radio!!
I didn’t say you would be screwing the boss. What you are doing by tipping is letting them away with it. I understand the expectation, I think it shouldn’t exist, I think it’s wrong. I also refuse to take a job like that which I believe IS the way to change it.
I really really don’t agree with this. They have already been screwed by their boss, you are choosing whether to Bail the boss out or not. The dynamic will never change by continuing your stance, you’ll just keep on bailing out the rich guys.
It’s not the articles that are horrifying. It’s the words and actions of these politicians that should have been a political death sentence. About half of the US seem fine with lies, racism, and homophobia. Even name calling was considered uncouth and it’s just mud flinging now and they love it. That’s what’s horrifying. It wasn’t the journos who did this, it was regular normal people.
It’s inherent in the two party system I feel. It’s analogous to that analogy about the two guys on the beach selling ice cream. They start at one end each but in the end they move closer and closer to one another in the middle of the beach or where the most people are. So the Democrats only have to be just “better” than the Republicans to look good and they definitely want to take some of the votes closer to centre.
That being said, they have FAR better stances than the Republicans on many things.
Edit: autocorrect and a typo
It’s technically NOT bread in Ireland. The courts say it’s not bread, because of the amount of sugar it must be classified as confectionary.
