By law employers are required to allow their workers an opportunity to vote. The problem is other stuff like taking their kids to school and having to go to work right after and by the time you make it to the poll through rush hour traffic, the line is out the door and they shut it down and don’t let you vote even though you waited for an hour.

I don’t understand how a miscarriage counts as abortion. The baby literally died in the womb. This law is sickening. My sister-in-law had a miscarriage last year and it’s scary to think that she could lose her life by trying to become a mother. I think the setting is bad in this context. You’re right that if he was at a comedy club or on his show it would be funny but he is at a political rally. He created this set to pander to a crowd of racists. In any other context I think it’s clear it’s a routine but not here.
