  • Of course, it’s not an entirely unreasonable question to ask, and if they were asking it seriously, it could lead to some self-reflection and improvement.

For example, maybe people are trying to assassinate Trump because he’s made it clear that he approves of assassination as a political tool, and he’s also made it clear that he is a worthless piece of slime. Maybe Harris just isn’t quite bad enough to rise to the level of murder to a bunch off morons.

Also Harris hasn’t really disappointed anyone. I don’t think anyone who plans on voting for her believes she’s the second coming of Christ or any bullshit like that.

However Trump is not leading a political movement. He’s leading a cult. When you find out your god is just some asshole, you might snap.

When people ask me why I like Linux, my go-to reason is my main personal machine. I use it for everything I do outside of work, including running my Emby server.

I built it from $500 worth of parts 13 years ago. I’ve kept updating the os and applications. It’s starting to slow down a bit after the last os upgrade, but it’s still plenty usable.

I am getting concerned about the spinning platters. As far as I am aware, Linux won’t prevent an ancient hard disk drive from reaching the natural end of is life.

It’s probably time to move on to a new machine. Well, new motherboard, CPU, RAM, and disks at least.

We survived a very rough period about a quarter century ago that taught leadership the value of fiscal responsibility. It was quite literally an existential crisis. The lessons carried us through multiple economic downturns in the intervening years including the pandemic.

Regarding the challenging cases that are deemed too unprofitable by other institutions, our solution is to improve both the quality and the efficiency of their treatment so that we are able to cover expenses without compromising care.

I’m quite proud of the work we do. In a world filled with corporations led by over paid sociopaths, I believe that our (non-profit) organization is doing the right thing for the right reasons.
