I love the fact Troi was sat directly on Picard’s left. I felt like it recognized the importance of emotion in being a human and how greatly that affects everything we do. She was like an emotional navigator and as important as the First Officer.

I actually love the fact that stadiums full of people go to political rallies and get jazzed about policy speeches. It’s strange, right? But I’m glad it’s something we get collectively psyched about. In a democracy, it (usually) feels healthy.
