Bring enough of them…
Bring enough of them…
Here’s my simple take. Vote Harris, then hold a massive pro Palestinian demonstration on inauguration day. Harris might be swayed, trump would just claim the demonstration was to celebrate him.
If I am trying to change people’s minds… yeah. I can’t say, some guy on reddit said it was true.
Thier definition of paycheck to paycheck was pretty weak and an easy target to poke holes in. But the data in general looks pretty helpful. And the source is a well known name. So thanks. The other guy who spewed a lot of math probably doesn’t debate with conservatives very often.
No argument on the second part. But not sure about the first. The laws “implying” something often isn’t enough to charge.
Where did you see that info? The article is horrible, but I am pretty sure it never said that.
Question, I hear things like that on lemmy often. Is there some data source that I can point to if I want to repeat it. I work in tech and honestly don’t go out much. I also have kids and live in an old neighborhood that is right next to new expensive ones. So I don’t really know anyone personally that is living paycheck to paycheck. And no one would believe me if I talked about it without data and a source.
Let’s be honest. There is litterally no situation where you should ever believe a thing trump says.
I haven’t read the laws, but I am willing to bet they say it has to be secured, but doesn’t say you can’t give the keys to a minor.
The second one is fine. And even 3,45 isn’t terrible, unless there are three digits after the comma. Then it is just wrong… in my opinion of course
Only 230? That’s disappointing
He is so lost these days he probably honestly thought her ass was the lecturn.
I suppose you would have to look up the law against it and see what it calls the action. They could call it Mississippi steamboating if they wanted to. So the possibility it is called vote buying isn’t unreasonable. But if you are just arguing that the headline is misleading… water is wet too.
They don’t need real events to site as proof. They prefer to make them up. It buys time while opponents have to try to figure out the source of the claim. I mean if you are going to lie, this is a great plan.
So any background on what the cops knew at the time? It says the car was reported to have been involved in a shooting at a school… but no gus were found and it was night I think. Also I have heard others say (but haven’t seen in an article) that the car was stolen and the guy who died had a rap sheet. I doubt the cops knew who he was, but they might have known the car was stolen. But if they knew none of these things, that would be a pretty stark picture.
Let’s all take a moment to not at the bottom of the article that it says since 1990 only 83 people have died in such incidents. That is a goal the US could never hope to achieve in my lifetime.
This dumb American is all for moving to the same units as the rest of the world. I would even agree to reordering the way we write dates. But not using a . where a comma belongs is a hill I will die on.
I read elsewhere that the issue was that you had to sign the petition to be eligible to win, and that you had to be a registered voter to sign the petition. So technically it was paying to get you to register. Which is not allowed.
More than that. You probably use them in public, where there are tons of cameras. So if you forget you phone in say a restaurant, odds are they have video of you unlocking it.
And let’s not forget all the poorly secured wifi access points people commonly connect to…
Reducing extremism, reduces the impact of advertising, which means business loses influence… and the rich lose influence. So that is who hates ranked choice voting.
