3·5 months agoAlphabet is a huge supporter of Israel, and Google employees were fired for making their displeasure known for Google’s uncritical support of a genocidal, illegally occupying nation state. Not surprising, to me.

It’s not always the journalists’ fault. Ultimate responsibility, regardless of fault, lies with the editor.
That said, most large news organizations are beholden to monied interests, and ethical journalism is all but dead, excepting a very few independent news sources that don’t rely heavily on all would -be advertisers or donors.
I meant the Times of Israel. And wrt the NYT, they aren’t particularly credible on certain topics. Sorry just taking a quick break from my work, and I’m not entirely with the subject, but your inquiry is valid, so I wanted to not ignore you.
Yeah it also gave the times a high credibility rating. I still check things there, but take that as a starting point, not an end all.
