What alternative do you use for indexed searches of the fediverse? Do any of the open meta engines allow source ranking like Kagi does? Looked at the git changes. Think you will need to point out the shady ones. It’s not inherently obvious. Do you have a specific recommendation for an open Kagi competitor (that has fediverse indexing as mentioned)? I’ve heard people talk about DDG options and those pale in comparison with real world use in my use cases.

Would certainly want to though. I hate sitting on planes and also get very little time off work, so wasting 12h of a trip for plane time is a lot to me. First class tickets are often 3x regular price and all you get is a bigger seat and slightly better food. I’d find way more value in a shorter trip than a first class ticket. Not saying I could afford it, but if it cost around 3x as much it seems feasible that it would sell at that level at least.

He won’t need to. And there’s not enough fried chicken over there anyway. The guy has been absolutely untouchable. He’s not suddenly going to get spooked. It sucks, but if we are lucky enough for a Harris Victory, the world will move on and I don’t think there will be strong efforts to punish him. This is an awesome analysis. I need to make a plug for my favorite, the Kingston FCR-ML3C. Its a micro metal usbc /usbA micro SD card reader. I upgrade my Samsung micro SD in it every once in awhile for speed and space upgrades. It sits lovely on my ID badge (works on Keychain too) and it’s a Swiss army type device that will work on whatever type of data port comes my way. Have used it for years and simply love it.

I think that’s great, but that’s now. You lose cash and have some bad luck with your politicians like we have had in the states, and those laws can change in an instant and good luck getting cash back once it’s gone.

Well that’s still an illusion than. You can’t have systems that are inherently non private and just expect privacy due to culture and norms at any given time. Cash is inherently more robustly private.
