Ironically I’ve found it’s harder for people to run away in remote, people don’t disappear from their desks and you don’t have to chase them down. If they don’t message back and it’s urgent, you call and if they don’t pick up a call and haven’t marked themselves as such something’s up. People are extremely dilligent about making sure they use status’ due to the knowledge that people will assume that way.

It was marketed decently enough. I remember seeing a release date trailer in 2022 and it was a known quantity before that. Was even at The Game Awards last Year. There’s definitely heavy marketing right now though and it helps that the numbers are so high.

Ignoring the success and failure of agile and waterfall. Waterfall was just a way more enjoyable development experience for me. That would probably change if the cycle was lower though. Also doesn’t help that many managers I’ve had don’t follow the rules of agile/SCRUM. Seems like people use it as an excuse to be able to change things on any given day but those cycles are supposed to be planned, not the plans.

It was showcased in Sony State of Plays (what felt like) most of last year but it didn’t really wow anyone from them other then existing Helldivers fans. Even if a game is what people want, someone has to play it first to spread the word. Among Us is a great example of that.

To be fair there was a large amount of time (2010s at least) where vegans weren’t even trying to be appealling. It was either. Stereotypical vegan dishes but even more limited or extremely bad vegetarian meat. Vegetarian meat has improved a lot and more importantly vegan food is represented as less one note.

I’m not going to say I agree with them but there are actual reasons. Brand identity with porn seems to be an issue in Japan being one, so nudity mods costing investment. And we have seen mods recently to bypass DLC purchases. Both seems to be led by Japan who have a stricter definition of ownership.

Gameboy SP plays GB, GBC and GBA games with a backlight in the screen. If that’s not enough, there are plenty of videos online on how to upgrade the SP. Authentic but optimized. Best of both worlds!

It isn’t in the fact that it’s not unbelievable. But there’s clearly a lot of effort put into the game and it’s fun with some enjoyable characters and allows you to be stupid. The Presentation has also made a CRPG that seems to look accessible to a larger fanbase so experiencing this choice is fresh to many people.

Seems to me like FerryStones just fall to the old too-good-to use system. By the time I started running around vermund I quickly got to double digits quantities of FerryStones and never fell to single digits comfortably using them.

Not sure I totally agree. The idea of researching and applying addictive traits to anything feels like something to be regulated. It’s not literally brainwashing but applying pressure to these topic can make anything positive into a negative. Even something like getting people to exercise could turn into someone collapsing if addictive qualities were applied.
