It was more than that. I’m 1996 round trip tickets were 7500, about 12000 in today’s dollars. I can get a round trip ticket under 400 bucks today for NYC to LHR. So it wasn’t 3x, but 30x the price.

And most are willing to pay less even if it’s a 6 hour flight.
I was thinking, have they met any gay men? I know a couple who voted trump in 2016, but never again will.
We should have the insurance companies decide if you need it, that’ll help!

A ticket onto the plane is 10 dollars, but your seat is 200. We’re refunding the whole 10 dollars!
538polling estimates this election ends in a tie currently at 4 in 1000 elections, so pretty damn unlikely. That’s a 1 in 250 chance.
They will implement it, they are just trying different methods until one sticks.
I think it would actually get him more votes.
Make some really cheesey Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, and pizza.
I was at a party with a small group of friends recently. We were all talking in a group and then one guy started watching tik/insta/whatever with the volume on. Everyone kinda looked at each other like wtf? I asked our friend if he wanted to borrow my headphones to watch that. He took the hint and rejoined the conversation. I still was gobsmacked someone would do that while hanging out with people.
Felt like more of a let down
You didn’t know he is into that shit
Strangely enough, most people will be in the top 5% at some point in their life. But just for a year, when they sell their house. So you’re getting fucked 75 years of your life for maybe 1 year of benefit?
Yup, that’s why I use plastic straws when turtle fishing.
I think he’s implying Biden didn’t roll back Trump’s policy or try to begin normalization again.
They said the same thing about Biden.
My point is it’s hypocritical made up shit.
Yea, I went to a relatively cheap college. Tuition was about 8k a year when I started and 12k when I graduated, this didn’t include living expenses or housing. I worked on average 30 hours a week and full time during the summers. I left with about 20k in loans. I worked and saved while living at my parents home and paid them off in about 3 years. I was lucky to be in a position to do this, all the while making less than 15 an hour.
Then a few years later when there was talk of people getting their debt forgiven, my mother says " that’s not fair, you worked hard to get out of it, they should too." And I stood there in shock, thinking who cares if I worked hard to pay off my loans, it doesn’t mean others should have to. I don’t want others to go through what I sacrificed if they don’t have to.
Yea, those guys are insane. Literally carrying most the gear up Everest, setting up all the climbing gear ahead of time, and smoking cigarettes the whole time.
Yea, my city started using tornado sirens for most decent thunder storms. So they are being used all the time. But there’s no way to know when it’s actually for a tornado…
