Haven’t encounted more than a few problems up until now and most I could fix by myself after a quick search and some very light reading.
I’ve been very satisfied with the OS switch.
If given the choice I think a lot of people would have been happy sticking with even older versions.

Linux Mint for sure.
It’s more welcoming to newbies than even Windows.
I’d recommend these games to anyone that likes CRPGs or the Post-Apoc setting.
Would however also recommend getting it from, pretty much, any other storefront.
People have done wierder stuff just out if curiosity.
I’m just thinking that if someone asked Valve about it, they probably have something in mind. Even if it is just dual-booting with Windows.
People have preferences. And I don’t think we’ve seen the last generation of hand-held or stationary consoles.
But as I said, I don’t own either. So I’m just throwing “maybes” around to your question.
Regardless, I can understand the intrigue of tinkering. Doing it, just for the sake of doing it.
Plus, you never know what possibilities it might open up for whatever tech the future might bring.
What about dual-booting a switch? Having to both Nintendo and Steam library on the same device.
I don’t know about Consoles, but a neat thought would could be dual-booting a Playstation.
I don’t use any of the above, just thinking out loud that there’s other stuff that could do with a dual-boot option than a Windows machine.
I don’t understand when they shorten the time in which they calculate sales numbers to such small periods.
I get year, and even half-year. But it gets a bit weird with months and weeks.
It’s doesn’t seem like a good indicator of a game’s popularity. A bit too forced.
If your company is successful, that’s gonna happen anyway.
There’s plenty of people in DK that would love to clock our politicians in the face.
But most realize that such an act wouldn’t result in anything favorable for anyone. Aside from very momentary self-satisfaction.
If they took the first step and worked towards, or remained, independent and selfpublished, that would make it a bit easier.
But Bethesda, Obsidian, InXile and even Blizzard couldn’t sell their asses to Microsoft fast enough once the offer was on the table.
I get you want to support the Devs, but they kinda made their choice. They had independence, some quite successfully, but they sold it.
Maybe it’s time to look for new studios to support and help up to contest with the old buggers?
A business is a business. And as long as funeral homes charge money for their services, they don’t get exemption from anything.
