  • I feel like your right about complacency playing a big part.

It does make me wonder if a user of both MacOS and Windows would be more willing to consider using Linux over individuals who have only used Windows. Maybe someone who has used multiple operating systems would be more aware of what could be improved in their computing experience.

That said a lot of people seem to be migrating to Linux because of Windows 11

  • It’s more targeted at the lemming who posted this. Considering people can edit post titles and add additional text to a link post there’s not really a risk in trying something more informative. They wouldn’t need to delete their post or match some ultra rigid formatting.

I don’t have any faith in Huffington Post (or several other news outlets) deviating from clickbait. In this situation someone might not recognize the name or act and assume it’s irrelevant to them. I can see why they do it but I don’t like it.

Just a heads up the “10,000 in 1” game claims that every of these devices advertises isn’t something you should consider. It’s going to be a lot of games you’ve never heard of for older systems like the NES so they fit on lower capacity SD cards. Potentially in multiple languages. It also comes on SD cards most people would recommend replacing.

It’s better to just download the entire library, individual games, or an already curated collection.
