    1. you didn’t read the post you are replying to.

    2. your stance is irritatingly naive.

If pro-palestine single-issue voters sink the Harris ticket there is a real chance they wont get to vote again. If perfection is allowed to be the enemy of progress you will inadvertantly elect the regressive party. A party helmed by a guy who has said publicly on multiple interviews he would sic the national guard or military on protestors, undesierables and political rivals.

It is frustrating to have to keep going over this, either the correct choice is made by the US citizenry and the status-quo continues (as poor as that may be) or the guard rails of democracy are dismantled by a wanabe dictator and your prefrences wont be asked of you again.

  • The meme has a fair point, but its not my gripe with the insurance industry. Im of the opinion that the managers for collective risk products should not be for-profit organizations.

In the US, if a hypothetical agency or one of those weird orgs like the postal service ran national insurance they would not be as profit driven and their proximity to other governennt bodies would push much needed regulations forward.

  • With Proton and SteamOS, that list is becoming much smaller. I mostly rag on Mac these days as they now get the least support. Due to Apple charging devs to publish on the platform, they get less support, fewer updates and inflexible hardware. For example, I have someone in a group BG3 playthrough that has build compatibility broken all the time when patches come out for windows/proton.

  • Unfortunatly, until voter and electoral college reforms are past, your choices are red team or blue team. The luxury of voting for who you prefer has been gone for decades. In order to get the policies you support passed you need to vote against the opposition.

I would have supported burnie for the last entire decade if I didnt feel I had to stand with the crowd against darth cheeto every time I go to the polls.

What are your congregations thoughts on other counting methods (Ranked choice / Instant run-off / other voting systems)?
