Issues aside, this is a great thing. We just got a several megawatt solar facility up the hill towards Makakilo finished, and the amount of rooftop solar we have is already pretty incredible. A couple more of these strategically spaced around the island and a bit more generation, and Oahu could reasonably get away from fossil fuels for at least residential and commercial energy demands.
