Summary

Elon Musk, a Republican megadonor and close Trump ally, is reportedly set to have office space in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building near the West Wing.

Musk is expected to head the “Department of Government Efficiency,” aiming to reduce federal spending under Trump.

Critics question Musk’s influence, noting his frequent presence at key Trump meetings and events.

This move, if confirmed, would grant Musk continued access to Trump post-inauguration, sparking debate about the billionaire’s role in the administration despite holding no official government position.

    Yep. I saying we’ve lost.

Not that it isn’t ongoing, we’ve just been position with our pants down, wrists chained to our ankles, bent over a barrel.

Eh, to have a constitutional convention, think we need things to collapse first :\ unfortunately. The powers that be are too entrenched.

Edit: does that make me an accelerationist? Absolutely yes lol

You think billionaires and their private armies and vast disinformation networks won’t come up with even more control from a constitutional convention or violent revolution? Fucking delusional.

Ok. So you aren’t someone that wants change. Got it. Fucking conservative LMAO. That’s why Trump won. Even if I disagree with a lot of the proposed changes, I think having things shaken up is better than letting the sludge just flow. Dibshit. If it takes increased pressure to burst the pipes so be it

You have no clue how bad this can get, or how uncertain the outcome is. Historically speaking, the change that comes from a societal breakdown is almost certain to be entirely bad. He’s just removing what little restraint there was on billionaires and corporations.

The pipes don’t burst. Look to modern Russia if you want to know where we are accelerating to. We’re already halfway there and moving fast.
