“President Biden must use the power of the pen to protect those seeking sanctuary from the coming deportation machine that will crush the human rights of our immigrant neighbors,” said one Amnesty leader.

Why not just really say fuck and pardon anyone for any crimes committed in the act of crossing a border?

Like, even if Bidens only course of actions is pardons (it’s not, the article gets into options) why isn’t he pardoning more people?

There are things he could be doing, he’s just not…

But there’s a very slim chance he might if people make enough noise.

any executive order can be undone by another executive order, by design, he can do any damn thing he wants and be immune from prosecution (as long as it can be construed as an official action) by executive order but you have to know that someone, probably the snake Miller, will be tracking them and be writing the order to cancel it asap.

Crossing the border without going through the proper process is illegal for a reason. Idk if having open borders is a good idea.

It is de facto open border if all border crimes are pardoned proactively.

Is that’s what is happening or going to happen?

I replied to a comment that said all border crimes should be pardoned. That is the context. But no, I don’t think all border crimes are going to be pardoned.

This comes down to his character. He just isn’t a good dude. People would respect him more if he went down swinging on his way out.

Yes it does, but not how you think. Grit and character can be at odds.

He’s focused on the more important things, like ensuring Israel continues to get weapons and pardoning his kid (not that I particularly care about the latter)
