    I mean, that’s the entire thing with public-private partnerships, isn’t it? Businesses won’t do something because it’s not profitable to them. The government steps in and makes some offer that helps the thing become profitable. But the unprofitable part never went away, and someone has to pay for it, so now it’s the taxpayer. The really shitty part of the deal is that the corpos made bank when they created the problem, and now they make bank when they step in to help “fix” the problem they created.
