    They’ve always had them, the bridge crew just happens to be that kind of person that’ll plug a fake seat belt clip into the holder to stop the beeping sound.

    I bet they fly the Enterprise with brights on all the time as well.

        Every now and then the warp nacelles seem to flicker, I think that’s supposed to be their turn signal. But like BMW drivers, they only activate when they break down (again)

        They’re using Boston rules, if they use turn signals a Klingon will just pull up beside and block their way out of spite.

          Nah, Klingons have honor. Whoever it is, they are the “perfectly clean $80,000 pickup that has carried less in it’s life then my Mom’s little sedan after a single Costco trip” drivers of space.

    One of the few things they did right in Kelvin timeline imo. Just makes sense if you lose inercial dampeners, which is like all the time, that you’d want to be strapped in going like 300c or during a Blue Alert.

    It’s sort of like before they made the seat belt laws. Ships had them but a lot of people were like, eh, I’ve been fine without them this long.
