We’re talking about the guy who thought with his little ensign instead of following protocol, which landed him an alien STI and caused diplomatic strain. Also the guy who on “night shift” defied the Prime Directive and involved himself in a planet’s civil war. He was pretty bad, not that he didn’t also do some good things. Rewatch all the same.
He also never really got any character development (unless you count alternate harry that returns to Voyager on Ice). Paris was not a masterclass on writing either, but I feel like his development was nicely written from the disillusioned dropout to accepting that he wants to be part of starfleet and voyager. To a degree where the episodes where he was acting all grumpy and disobedient was really believable, even though it weas to plant him undercover somewhere (forgot where)
Was he that bad? I don’t remember him being that bad… though, I don’t remember much any more v.v Maybe I just need to rewatch Voyager 😵💫

I’ll put it into the queue 📃 🖋 😓 Maybe it’ll happen sometime 😅
