Why yes not all of them gang raped a little girl but all of them are convicted felons. If that plane were to crash the only things of value lost would be the lives of the flight personnel.

i have a very sensitive nose, and let me tell you i have not met a single person who says of themselves they don’t smell and actually don’t, they absolutely do. We are just used to our own and dont register it unless it gets intense.

I’m not saying you should bathe in perfume or obsessively rinse your scalp with bleach, just that if people go several days without using soap on themselves I 100% always smell them. For hair it isn’t much different.

If you do not apply some sort of (proven) cleaning agent to your hair on a reasonably frequent basis, i dont care how in touch with nature and your primal self you are, you stink. If you dont want to deal with the maintenance cut it off, rocking the wrecking ball aesthetic is pretty great actually.

Pretty sure media writes that way to be lawsuit proof. Everything is allegedly, supposedly, reportedly, according to sources, and so forth. Only things a court of law has confirmed are safe to report as facts.

Honestly a bot moderator is just open source enshittification of the fediverse if you did it like this. Bots have no nuance, do not understand context and are generally unable to apply reason to a situation.

The most egregious suggestion is user name based bans, this is 100% going to remove a bunch of users without real cause. Or having automod comment the same irrelevant headline on every single post is just causing spam and kills the comment count function.

In my opinion the bots should do all the tediousness for the moderators, and there may even be scenarios where a bot content filter could be invaluable, but in general any tool you put out there will also be used to its fullest extent by at least one person.

Half the features are helpful and the others are obnoxious or useless reddit vestiges. Auto banning users, locking communities, deleting posts is all rather harmful and not conducive to interesting discussion and posts. Welcome messages and auto mod comments on every post are also plain terrible.

Make a slim bot with moderation tools that helps mods and admins to do their tasks more efficiently and comfortably, but dont offload the mod role itself to the bot. That is one of the worst parts if reddit.

I think it works as a sort of reverse local currency that the federation administration exchanges at given rates for trade outside the federation, but cannot be spent within its domain and has no direct value to its citizens.

We also know that at least energy credits / transporter rations exist, so my guess is the actual currency is the power required to do things, like transport or replication. Average people in the federation probably have a fairly large allotment of energy to spend for themselves and rarely need any extra, so they have no real use for the currency aside from interacting with other cultures or possibly exchanging it with the federation’s external commerce administration.

Still exists, gets occasional balance patches from that one guy still working on the game. Hasn’t received an update or content for many years now though.

Not denying violence against women is an issue elsewhere too, but you would be hard pressed to find such a staggering density of sexual violence, in rather public areas, committed by groups of men for little to no provocation other than a woman being in the wrong place.

Now I am not saying all Indian men are rapists of course, but there certainly is evidence of a system wide, cultural aspect creating and enabling this behavior in a way rarely seen elsewhere.

They have a terrible issue with misogyny, there are countless stories of rape and other forms of assault on any kind of women (and girls). Indians, foreigners, none are safe, even with men accompanying them for protection. One or two guys can’t do much against a rape mob.

India is probably the first country I would warn a woman away from if she were looking for vacation destinations. Followed by islamic countries.
