HE’S JUST CRAZY 'BOUT THIS STORE!
The overnight stock crew of a local supermarket find themselves being stalked and slashed by a mysterious maniac.
A fun slasher flick directed by Scott Spiegel and written by him and Lawrence Bender. These guys are buddies with the Raimi brothers and Bruce Campbell, and indeed they all appear in this movie. A few more stills…
This one is great and really overlooked especially given who’s involved. Now you’ve got me going down the rabbit hole watching all the old shorts by these guys and Josh Becker.
If you’re checking out the Josh Becker shorts, don’t forget to watch this full length of his as well:
Thou Shalt Not Kill… Except (aka Striker’s War) (1985)
An army unit on patrol in Vietnam is ambushed and most of the unit is killed. The survivors are given leave to return Stateside and see their families. They decide to visit one of their buddies who had been wounded in the ambush. When they arrive in his town, they run up against a killer cult led by a murderous psychopath.
It’s a schlocky Vietnam-vets-vs-evil-hippies movie and Sam Raimi plays the evil hippie cult leader (in a hilariously over the top fashion). It can be found on ok dot ru. :)
Ok, that looks sufficiently nuts for my taste. I’ll watch it tonight.
Have fun watching! :)
That was fun. It feels like a top tier Troma movie. I want to track down the original with Bruce Campbell in the lead.

Growing up, I used to frequent the local video rental store as well, so I know what it’s like to be captivated by all the amazing artwork on the VHS boxes. I’m glad these posts manage to bring you back to that time and place.
It’s really my pleasure sharing these movies. They deserve to be viewed by more people. :)
Intruder is also available on Pluto and tubi(with commercials, obv.) but still free, tho.
